Goochland County's new 700/800 system is now live. A patch to/from the old VHF fire/rescue dispatch remains in place with the mutual aid departments using that to communicate with Goochland.

Goochland P25

License shows as being WQVK585. It appears that they are on a 4-site Simulcast system.

I will post frequencies to radioreference database.

When the FCC first licensed Goochland on 700 some years back, it was to be P25 conventional repeaters, 5 pairs. I still have the freqs programmed hoping to hear something on one of my trips to/from Charlottesville.

The freqs were/are:
769.843750
771.018750
771.518750
771.943750
773.493750

Did the supervisors in Goochland change their minds, going with a trunk system?

It looks to be a conventional p25 simulcast job. (Probably K Core)

Going off my scribbles F/R seems to be 771.94375. Patched to the old analog freq. as of a few days ago.

I think SO Dispatch is 852.5625 (Encrypted.)
