Jeff is correct - Whistler radios do NOT do ProVoice - and there is no upgrade option.

The Uniden BCD325P2 handheld can also be upgraded to ProVoice capability, and it is cheaper than the 436HP.
.....and you could get an actual ProVoice radio even cheaper still....
