HP-1 Monday Update Problem

each time I do the "Monday Update" on the the HP-1, I end up duplicating everything already in the scanner. On the other hand, it does not duplicate entries on the BCD536hp. Any ideas on how to correct the problem? Thank you for your time

sentinel pgm >UPDATE>UPDATE MASTER HP DATABASE>OK
remove USB cable - scanner reboots
connect USB cable - select Mass Storeage
Sentinel pgm > HOME PATROL>WRITE TO HOME PATROL >FORCE WRITE FULL DATA BASE >
remove USB cable > scanner reboots

Are you checking the box to erase existing favorite lists? If you don't you will get duplicates.

Do not force write full database.

The full database will write to scanner if it needs updated (new download is newer than what is in radio).

Erase favorites lists on scanner anytime you write to radio, or things will duplicate.
