I can't pick up Tryon in Polk county. I have a Trx 1. Please help.

Tryon ? You mean Tryon Fire (NXDN)? Can you be more specific?

What frequencies/systems are you trying to monitor?

Where are you trying to monitor them from?

Yup - saw that - and did some poking around and found another thread that seemed to say he'd be "down there" next year?

Irregardless - I think we all want to try and help but without any specifics, it's pretty difficult to do so.

CMPD has a station there but he says POLK county I see some VIPER trunked and some low band

It does appear that Tryon is using some NXDN and what is known is posted on RRDB

Lacking other info, best thing to do is simply search while in the area... but that might take some time based on other posters in the above thread (activity sounds slower there than where I live!)

I verified that 155.580 is a NXDN 9600 channel with a RAN of 12. Unit IDs are labeled "TPD XXX" and "DISPATCH" so I think that verifies this as the Tryon PD channel. It's very quiet traffic-wise, with only a few dozen transmissions since midnight last night. I have added 155.070 and 151.3325 to my scan list and we'll see if those reveal anything.

I mean the city in Polk County NC. I am down here right now now with family. I do live in Virginia but grew up in Carolina. I wanted to monitor all the nxdn frequencies, fire and police.
