Okaloosa sheriff codes

In Okaloosa county the sheriffs use codes after they have handled a call. For example unit xxx 78 Zero O Oscar. I have searched and can’t find a reference for these. Anyone know where to go for this information. I asked an guy who works for OCSO and he told me he couldn’t give me a list.

I did notice that some of the codes are different and it’s an old, possibility out dated. I sent a request for them to OCSO. The worst they can do is say no. The list is a great help. Thanks again.

If it's written down somewhere(like the linked document), you should be able to get a copy via the Florida Sunshine Law as a public records request.

I sent my email as a public record request to the email address I found for the public information office so we shall see.
