396xt assistance

Hello, I’m new to the forum and just bought a 396xt scanner. I get some stations and great reception but I cannot receive any transmissions from my local PD. I live in st tammany parish Louisiana and my city is Slidell. I cannot pick up one channel. The system is Motorola. I may have a setting wrong. IDK? Anyone help!

Did you download this trunking system Slidell and all the TGID's from the DB? When you say "one channel", are you talking about the control freq 856.5625?
