hi has the Lexington county sheriff radio talkgroups always been encrypted because yesterday i heard abought 2 - 3 minutes of unencrypted radio comms on their dispatch 3 talkgroup

It has been ENC since the 90's.

Oh then I'm surprised that I heard 3 min of unencrypted audio then.the 3 mins of audio I heard was in and out. Must have been a new radio and wasent setup right.

they have been in the clear a few times before during maintenance windows as well, rebanding etc. Always very short lived.
