Does anyone have the frequencies of the American Medical Response (AMR) ambulances operating in Johnson County, TX?

Thanks

Yes, thanks Tom. They are dispatched via the Johnson Co. FD, but I was wondering about the AMR company frequency, if that was available.

I saw somewhere that Ellis Co is being dispatched by AMR Dallas which also handles Collin Co. The crews had various channels they monitored. May be applicable to Johnson County as well. I'll see if I can find that thread.

Appreciate it. In Johnson County, AM R is dispatched by the county fire. I am not interested in the "dispatch"; but rather the "in house" frequency or frequencies.

You may be right, they are "piggy backing" off the DFW system.

453.1750 is the AMR dallas channel.also has Ellis county tone out. Very little on radio other than tone out. The rest is done through Logis system. Last I heard, the AMR dallas channel is temporary for Ellis and that they have applied for a frequency for Ellis and Johnson co.
As far as I know, all Johnson Co ops are on the FWRRS and that there is not a company channel for Johnson co.
Ellis co crews carry 3 radios, Uhf for the above frequency, 800 for waxahachie and VHF for county.
Keep an eye out for a new license. I know that as of September they were waiting for new freq.

They are on the JoCo site of the FWRRS, talkgroup 6543.
This was the same talkgroup CF Ground used when they
were the county EMS provider. JoCo Fire does NOT
dispatch AMR by the way. AMR handles their own
dispatching of the JoCo ambulances.

Johnson County Fire Talkgroups

DEC HEX Mode Alpha Tag Description Tag
6539 198b D JC FD Alarm Johnson County Fire Alarm Fire Dispatch
6540 198c D JC FD 2 Johnson County Fire 2 Fire-Tac
6541 198d D JC FD 3 Johnson County Fire 3 Fire-Tac
6542 198e D JC FD 4 Johnson County Fire 4 Fire-Tac

6545 1991 D JC FD 7 Johnson County Fire 7 Fire-Tac
6546 1992 D JC FD 8 Johnson County Fire 8

Database was updated with this information in October via my submission.

Thank you Chris. I was of the opinion that JoCo was dispatching on channel 2 on FWRRS. My mistake.

I'll update my Johnson County database information.

Hmmm? Seems that database still lists CF and not AMR .

See: https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=2648

Chris, I am ALL screwed up! Above was the OLD database. I found the FWRRS listings and you ARE correct. However, I was looking for the AMR company frequency.........IF...........exists.

Sorry for the mistakes. Guess that I need more beauty sleep.

No worries Jerry.

I do not believe AMR uses a 'company' frequency here in JoCo, but
I could be wrong on that though. They appear to be using the FWRRS
for 'all' of their comms here in JoCo. I have yet to hear them mention
anything about a secondary channel. Everything seems to be all on
the FWRRS.

AMR Johnson County

They refer to their base as '500'. When they get a call it's "500 to 174", then call is dispatched.
