Looking for a hard reset. Put in fresh batteries, and the display went to all backwards text.

Turn the scanner off.

Press down and keep holding down the 2, 9, & Hold keys and press the Power button to restart the scanner and reset.

I would've left it like that for the novelty.

Isn't that a normal setting you can do to turn the display upside down to be able to read the text from above when hanging from your belt?
Anyhow it returns to default when doing a factory restore.
