TRX-1: Radio ID does not always show during transmission

Noticed today while listening the radio ID does not always show up during transmissions. I have my scanner set to show CC and VC and most of the time the Radio ID will show up. Just was wondering what causes it to show at times and not during other times. Thanks

There are lots of reasons this happens - sometimes it just misses the initial data for the voice call - other times it could just be poor signal and/or decoding.

It happens on all of the radios that I have - Whistler, Uniden, and Unication.

Most of the time the Radio ID fails is because the next responder keys up so soon they piggy back the original signal.

Hello,
To display "Radio ID" permanently, is it possible to disable the display of "Slot" and "Color" on line 5?
The alternate display is too fast.
