Hello all,
I have several pairs of Kenwood portable radios. I happened to notice that one of my two Kenwood TK-280 portables is exhibiting strange behavior on the display. Whenever a channel is added to the scan list, it displays an arrow on the very left of the display (normal operation). However, the radio on the right displays a "3" anytime a channel is added to the scan list. Has anyone ever seen this before? I know it isn't a dead pixel issue, because all pixels on the screen illuminate on power up, and even if, the "3" doesn't conform to the down arrow in formation on the display.. Just curious why this radio behaves this way? I guess it's just my OCD kicking in because things don't match up, lol. But in all seriousness, I just wondered if anyone else has noticed this before, and if so, what is the cause, if known?
Thanks,
Nick
