Collier P25?

Several news reports are saying a communications initiative w schools will put them on CCSO P25 radio system.

I am not aware of any P25 in Collier.

Something new planned? Or perhaps bad reporting.

Any thoughts?

I found this article on CCSO going to P25. Sounds like a phased in approach to a long project.

Looked in the DB section did not see any P25 updates for CCSO, I also noticed the schools are on an LTR system.

Nice find, going to be a process. It searched below w very little found. I have seen some testing on new Analog TG’s on the EDACS. My guess is they will pop up on the existing system. Likely a spare or new TG.
