new firmware

gents i have downloaded the new firmware 1.15.00 thru sentinel. the download appeared to go thru alright, but my 536 is still showing 1.14.00. is the firmware not working

OK, so should I not download & apply the latest Uniden BCD*36HP firmware upgrade 1.15.00 for now & give Uniden some extra time to fix the issue with the firmware upgrade? I currently have the last latest firmware version downloaded & applied to my Uniden BCD536HP being 1.14.00

I will keep checking on this thread to see when it is considered safe & effective for me to download & apply the latest Uniden firmware upgrade to my scanner through Sentinel being the 1.15.00

You actually downloaded 1.15.01 which is identical in every way to 1.14.00. The 1.15.00 firmware was pulled due to issues.

It's called 1.15.01 so Sentinel would see it as "newer" than 1.15.00.

May as well type this since someone will point it out as a bug:

The current Sentinel download will DL the firmware on every attempt due to the way the reversion had to happen. That is a side effect of the reversion.

Closing this thread with the release of firmware 16.
