Why is Sugar House Casino not in RR for sentinel?

I was looking at the area casinos and realized that Sugarhouse in Philly is not under the business section on county wide frequencies for Philly. When I put Sugarhouse in RR search function this and other listings come up, but with no license. Does anyone know why?

Because no one has submitted the system. If you want to figure out the LCNs for each frequency and the talkgroups used, then submit the data. That's how everything got into the database.

Not being from the area I'm just speculating that no one has provided verified information to the RR database. Also, the licenses don't appear to be in the name of the casino, or the ownership groups, so until you figure out who's name the license is in it might be very difficult to find. For example, the ownership group is based in Chicago and may have gotten a nationwide license from there which wouldn't show up in the PA database or FCC records under the casino name.

I've run across a number of business over the years that I never could find in any listing or doing searches. Also, I've found a number of casinos (and a lot of malls now) have begun using encryption, so you might not hear anything helping you identify the user or usage of certain frequencies. If you verify the frequencies and usages you definitely should submit them to the RR database so others can find them.

It shows up just fine on the RR FCC Latitude/Longitude search.

It may not be shown under 'Businesses' for Philadelphia County, but the TRS is listed among the county's trunked systems.

It's not in Sentinel as it has not yet been updated to include NXDN systems. Once that is done, it should also be in the database update (after the Sentinel mod is completed). It is in the EZ-Scan library, at least for my TRX-1.

Fyi unless things have changed security and parking and management use to use encryption only food beverage and slot techs were in the clear.

I monitored the system in the past and didn't detect any encryption - not that I recall. Things may have changed...

It was awhile ago I monitored them. A good 3 or 4 years I had them in my scanner in my old cab. Was good for business to know when they had big events going on.
