I read earlier this year that this is only on the backend and end users will experience no changes.

So I wonder if franklin and Dauphin are I moving to 700mhz from T-Band? The article says there will be no change in operations, not that the system infrastructure and radios won’t change.

Nothing has been changed on the front end. The talkgroups, sites, and frequencies are the same. The only difference is the connections between the systems on the back end.

I was in Franklin yesterday and Dauphin earlier in the week and noticed everything was still the same, just wondered if that’s the eventual plan with the FCC’s gradual push to get people off of T-Band. It would make sense from a regional interoperability standpoint. Adams was a complete mess before they went 700.

I listen to Franklin and Adams daily, and haven't noticed any changes.
