I've been listening to JCC FD lead a multi agency water rescue/search. Units from James City County, York County, Gloucester County, Camp Peary, the Coast Guard, and one air evac commercial helicopter have been involved.
Most of the activity has been on, or patched to, the JCC FD Tac 1. Though setting one scanner to ID search, I have found a new TG 1064. It is not listed in the RRDB.
I have also heard a request if a responding unit had the 'mims' system. I can not find that listed either.
Does anyone have any idea what 'mims' might be and what the 1064 TGID is?
On the down side, the search now appears to be in recovery mode. A boat overturned and two people went into the water. One has been rescued, the other is still missing five hours later.
