Service type

This issue just started when I pull Batteries out to charge when I put them back in service types are reset. I have had this scanner for a few years this just started

If you shut the scanner off by pulling batteries, you will lose all setting changes made since the last normal power down. Setting changes are saved to the memory card during power down.

If the card is going bad, you will have the same issue, setting changes aren't saved due to card error.

Try a different card and don't just pull power to shut down.

I dont pull the batteries I shut down first then use external charger like I have been.when I reinstall them turn scanner on the service types are different. This has just started within the last week

Then it's time to replace the card. Flash memory can only be written to a finite number of times before it fails. Once that happens, you'll have errors when writing to the card, and configuration changes will not save properly.

Thanks wasn't sure if it had something to do with the new firmware
