yep

this is what happens when you make things energy efficient .
heat reflecting metal works on radio waves.
nothing in, nothing out.
even the efficient windows have a film of metal.
so you just can't go to the window and have the radio work.
same here in florida with schools and hospitals.

I don't think their problem is going to be solved by using Radiax. They're gonna have to put a BDA in both buildings.

GRPD officers have access to radios provided by the district.

And they still won't be able to call for help.

And the cops went along with this?

Isn't it about time that instead of every village, borough, city having their OWN radio system they get together forgetting their local pig headed politics and use one system, either County or State or build one out in Bergen. It's funny that all around the state there seems to be a lot more cooperation in communications but in Bergen so little. Two towns on the same channel next to each other but one is P25 and the other analog so they can't hear each other. Stop the petty politics.
