i have all the channels on my scanner


however i have been hearing for about 2 weeks when they get a ems call the dispatcher says operateing on EMS 2

is there a ems 2 channel f so does anybody know what is is

There is no EMS 2. Are you sure they are not saying “Fireground 2” or just “EMS?”

Hmmmm, I wonder if it’s their old analog UHF channel....try 501.3625 DPL 411.

Fireground 2 is intended for EMS operations. The few old-school dispatchers left still refer to it as EMS 2 once and a while.

But they really have been using just EMS for as long as I've listened on NJICS. Guess ill have to listen when u put my office back together.

If they are using their analog channels again, please let me know and I will reprogram them into my scanner.

The exception being when basically everybody is out on a run. And lately they've been running 0 availability again often lately.
