BuTel ARC536 w/ SDS100

Greetings All,

I am trying the trial version of ARC536 (Version 2.1 Build 7) with the SDS100, prior to purchasing the Pro version. I have ARC536 loaded on a laptop Utilizing Windows 10. For the life of me I cannot get ARC536 to recognize the SDS100 when in Mass Storage Mode. When I click on Detect Scanner, I get the message about making sure the USB cable is connected, the scanner is is Mass Storage Mode and that the computer has Admin rights (to my knowledge, it does). I have tried a couple of different USB ports.

I have no issue with reading and writing to the SDS100 with the Uniden Sentinel software.

Can anyone point me in the right direct as to what I may be doing wrong?

I had exactly the same problem you do. Check and see what drive letter is assigned to scanner. This build of 536 doesn't see the C or D drives. If the letter is D which I guessing it is then change it to E. That's what I had to do and everything works perfectly now.
