I'm currently picking up some type strange data noise possibly? My quick google search shows it may be a beacon? I'll attach an audio file one I get to my computer. Currently on mobile phone.

Copy and paste for the included world wide beacon list link. It didn't format well. I think the tabs were dropped for a space.

Wait... so are you telling me I just picked up Australia?! Wow!

Its possible... When 6m is open, well just about anything is possible. :D

See if you can decipher the callsign from the audio you have. That will lock it down. Typical CW speed is on the slow side usually. Likely you were in FM mode, but carrier on/off should come across as CW sounding a little funky. (...or a lot funky...)

Very likely is FT8, a ham radio mode provided by the WSJT-X software. Ham stations are everywhere in the world and FT8 is the most popular digital mode in the ham bands. Normally found at 50.313 on 6 Meters but could appear above / below that. If you post a recording we’ll be able to tell.
