Merriweather Fire Dept (Edgefield County) tac ch?

Trying to find the tactical channel freqs. used by Merriweather Fire Dept located in Edgefield County. Are tactical channels licensed or unlicensed? I have entered everything listed on RR and I am right down the road from a call they are on and not hearing anything. I am running a sweep with my TRX1 scanner and so far nothing. Thanks

I don't have a direct answer to your question, but if they don't have a license, maybe check the standard mutual aid channels. Do they use VHF or UHF for dispatch and ops? They stated they were going to VTAC17. I will just enter all the mutual aid frequencies that are listed. They operate on VHF HI. Thanks

Looking at the Nationwide Interoperability listing, VTAC17 would be 161.850 PL 156.7. Good luck.
