I noticed that the Shreveport communications system in north La uses a system ID of 176. Then I realized that Tomba communications in south La uses the same system ID. Since these are both Motorola dealers I am wondering if this going to be statewide system eventually. Is this a possibility?? Anybody know anything for future plans for a statewide TRBO system??

Capacity Plus has NO SysID.. only Connect Plus uses SysID. So if a MotoTRBO system has an SysID it has to be an CON+. Same with a true Control Chan.
Not sure how the Tier 3 Capacity MAX does it.

And Shreveport Comms is also linked to an Texas based operation, and affiliated to an Arkansas one. They are building out an very large system to cover the ArkLaTex if they ever get it done. They are converting LTR sites, as well as adding new ones here and there.

Also there is an MS ComSOUTH ComNET site or two in NE Louisiana along the MS border.
