I have a uniden bcd396xt and need a cable so I can program it with freescan but all I am seeing is serial port cables do they make a usb version of that cable. Also if anyone has one they would be willing to sell let me know thanks

It doesn't connect to a serial port. It connects to a USB port.

i called uniden and was told i needed an adapter to make it work scanner doesnt have a serial port
The correct cable is the one I linked to. The scanner has a serial port. The PC has a USB port. Use the USB-1, it has USB (for the PC) on one end and the square 4-pin serial connector (for the scanner) on the other end.
