Does anyone know of any agency using DMR (MotoTRBO) on 155.010?

I can't copy it well enough to decode, but when the band is up, I pull that in here in extreme NW Iowa (Rock Rapids).

I don't think it's from another state, but I can't be sure. I know it's DMR because my RTLSDR and DSD+ are able to decode some data, but no voice.

I'm thinking it could be Emmet County, but the RR database says they're P25, not DMR.

@timkilbride -- It's been a while now since I've heard it but if I do I'll fire up my RTLSDR again. You were wanting a screenshot of the data screen?

Like this? (this is an example, not the real thing)

@tfhphoto -- If it's strong in Sioux City I wonder if it's Woodbury County or SC PD? Like 20 years ago, they used to use 155.010 as their "OPS" channel. (every county in Iowa had an "OPS" and an "INFO", and they were re-used throughout the state. 155.010 was a common one.

I see SC still has a number of licenses for 155.010. Do you know if they use it for any other purpose? Could it be their MDT (mobile data terminals) use it?

That looks like the data that is sent during the site beacon every 60 seconds. Does the transmission last roughly 4 seconds each time?

Like I said, the screenshot was an EXAMPLE -- NOT THE ACTUAL SCREEN -- I was asking if that was the screen for which you wanted a screenshot.

I do not HAVE a screenshot of the actual transmission, as I haven't heard it in a while. Not sure if @tftphoto has DSD+, but he says it comes in better there. If he does, maybe he could post a screenshot of his DSD+ screen . . .

@timkilbride -- DX is coming in again. I now have a screenshot of my DSD+ window on the 155.010 frequency.

That doesn't look like it is decoding very well. When these transmissions occur, time how long between transmission and the duration of the transmission.

@timkilbride -- Not very long. A few seconds between transmissions, maybe. Similar to a conversation.

The transmissions are generally 5-10 seconds I would think.

@tftphoto -- is that what you're hearing as well?

Yes, that sounds like what I'm hearing. Not using DSD+, but I'm assuming its GPS or other data, mostly 10 seconds on then 10 seconds or so off. Does not decode - or even show a CC - as dmr on my 996P2s, but it sounds like dmr. Also, in 21 years in SUX, I don't recall ever hearing (locally) voice on 155.010 despite all the local licenses.

Looking at the emission designators for Iowa licenses, Boone County is on Nexedge (NXDN), Decatur County is on MotoTRBO, and most everyone else is listed as being on analog with maybe 2-3 also listing P25 Phase I.
