Running discovery in Pinellas on this system and noting that TGIDs are in the format XX-XXX (typical EDACS format), but in the DB, they are not listed as such. Anyone know the rationale? Thx in advance.

Actually the correct group ID notation for EDACS has been decimal and not AFS for many years. The reason SLERS is noted in decimal only is probably because they use extended addressing.

DO NOT ASK ME FOR HELP PROGRAMMING YOUR RADIO. NO.
AFS format is unique to scanners. The radio companies that make the systems never used it, or at least as far as programming of system radios is concerned, and always used decimal (or hex) TGIDs. I suspect this is because the engineers working on scanner development in the early days of trunking simply did not know how the talkgroup information was presented by Motorola, GE, etc.

I still have to program my scanners with both formats to lock out the encrypted channels.
