We have had 1AP call on Northumberland Feed lately. My guess is that it is first nations unit as well, as other regions look like they use it? Yes no?

Alpha units are based from the Regional Headquarters, so Smith Falls for your area.

Yes.

A are Regional Headquarters units
AP are Aboriginal Policing units.

Alfa Units??

I live on a native Res.. Cape Croker ***(Google It)*** (( neyaashiinigmiing )) here are Cape Croker Police, a branch of OPP zone1... North Gray GL- 10PS10, / South Bruce 6I - 10PS13 / Bruce County GR 10PS02 **** simulcast P25, here they use expl.. 6Lima Dispatch, Romio 402 call Londen
I never hear them use AP , A?

Same for walpole island. They are on OPS08 lambton with 6mike70x call signs.. but another rez also in lambton (kettle point) use the AP's. The one rez in chatham-kent is a 6delta70X and the 3 from middlesex county are all 6juliet7 series no AP's.

So i wonder if it depends on the band that rez belongs to. Also it seems their badge numbers start with 800

Ditto for Oneida/Chippewa etc by Delaware... They use 6Juliet 7xx soft IDs on the Middlesex talkgroup.
