After monitoring almost 8 hours today, Oct 3, 2018:
It appears that the USPP have moved all communications to their new totally encrypted secure radio system. Nothing is being heard on any of the old VHF channels that were active this past weekend. The only transmission heard since Monday was US Capitol Police calling USPP on 166.925 several times with no reply. I don't know if this is true outside of the DC Metro area.
DC Scanner enthusiasts have now lost the ability to hear almost everything worth listening to except DCFD/EMS, taxis and trains (and even Metrorail is crappy signals)
