BCSO patrol call numbers follow this format....
The first digit is the shift. 1 is day shift, 2 afternoon/evening, 3, dogwatch/graveyard
The second digit is the sector of the county. Starting clockwise A is NE, which is from Blanco to IH10 East,
B, which is IH 10 E to US 281 South, C is US 281 South to Hwy 90 W and D is Hwy 90 North to Blanco.
There is also a designator for inner city, but it escapes me at the moment.
The third digit is within each sector, -- slice each sector into a pie 1,2,3,4.
The fourth digit is the number officer assigned to that sector, 0 if only one, 1 for two.... I've even heard up to 4 on occasion)
Example
2 Charlie 10 is Second shift, southwest closest to US281 and is the only officer in that sector
3 Delta 21 is Dogwatch West, 1 sector north of Hwy 90 and is the 2nd officer in that sector
The Papa units are ?????
The Tango officers are Traffic Enforcement
The Zulu units are SWAT/Special Ops Officers
37xx are detective and investigators
1 L 1 is Lt on 1st shift
3 L 1 is Lt on 3rd shift
