What I Think He is Asking is which Boro / Time / Date to Narrow it Down-I Myself are Not Sure if there is a Broadcastify Recording--You Might Have to Put in a Request for Public Release on what You Need with the FDNY

Fdny 800mhz isnt a channel, it's a system.
There are many channels known as talkgroups.

Which one is it that you are asking about?

On Broadcastify are the 800 MHz recordings on channel 6B under the FDNY DARS Channel in the archives?

There was a long conversation that occurred on FDNY CH 6B on the 800 MHz around 7/31-8/2 because of an open mic. That is what I am looking for if anyone remembers it or have a more specific time and date it would be appreciated.

FDNY CH 6B on the 800 MHz

They call it the "800 Mhz radio...." but it's actually on 400 Mhz.

Apparently the radio mechanics are the only ones who know that.

Some talk groups may be simulcasting, but certainly not all.

And if they are simulcasting, it's the 400 Mhz simulcasting on the 800 (for what purpose, I don't know). The radios on the FD apparatus are 400 Mhz radios.

There are many 800 radios in command vehicles, EMS supervisors have 800 also. The 480 actually trails the conversation on the 800, not sure why but more likely the 800 is being sent over to the 480, and yes not all talk-groups. From what I hear Admin talk-groups, 6A, 6B, EOC.For hospital and other role calls on EOC, which have been in effect way before the 480 was even built. The EOC radio here at where I work is 800.

To add another reason is that if NYC is expecting to loose the 480 (I doubt it will happen BTW) in 2 years why put more radios on it.

800mhz system was first. Ems has many 800 only channels. Just look at the database and you will see them listed only on the 800 system

The new 480mhz system has many fire only channels not found on the 800 system.

The admin channels like 6b are 800 and linked to the 480 system.

6b is associated with 800 regardless of the radio involved.
Some radios list it as 800mhz even when it's on the 480.
