Wallingford PD and Electric

Talking to a client today and he had info that the police were planning on going to a digital trunking system. They have a license for a trunking system (WPLZ699) but no indication that they are actually are using it.

Also he had reports that the electric utility is operating on a digital system but he didn't know if it was their own or an SMR.

Any ideas?

Wallingford PD&FD are going to a 800 mhz P25 II trunk system in the summer.

The Wallingford Electric is on their own VHF frequency

Is the PD going to encrypt it

PD was already encrypted . whats the TG for wallingford electric

Wallingford PD is currently P225 but they are not running encryption currently.
