Would you like to have a look at a test instance of the new forums?

Head on over to:

http://xenforo-test.radioreference.com

Notes:

  1. Right now we're only looking for feedback on problems, errors, or unexpected behavior
  2. What you see in the forums is an import from Saturday, Dec 8th
  3. If you post something there - it should be only for test and will go away when the test instance is removed
  4. It is a test instance... so again, it is a playground and not a live instance. Anything that happens there can go away at any time. Please don't abuse this.

We're not looking for feedback or complaints right now about how the colors aren't your favorite, or "why is my avatar on the left side" or other nit-picking stuff. We're looking to identify major problems before we go live.

Have fun.... and thanks,

Have cookies enabled for the mobile browser but it's giving me an error message when I try to log in.

Like the new look.

I think the cookie problem on mobile is now solved...
Worked for me, like the new version. Only small comment is it'd be nice to be able to advance to the next/last page from the top of the page instead of having to go to the bottom.

Are you doing away with the quick jump links at the top to the DB, Wiki, etc?

Also, no post count/join date for the posters? I use that as a quick judge of how “valid” the info posted might be. Long term members, lots of posts, seem like they might be more credible than a new poster with a count of 1.

How do you mod alert a post in the new layout?

Edit: I hope these don’t sound knitpicky...I mean them as pointing out items that are missing compared to the old layout.

Look under the user's avatar on the left for post count and join date.

I swear the count and join date were not there when I posted that, but now they are there.

I do not see a report button?

Viewing on an iPad with Safari.

Do you not see quick page jumps at the top left and bottom left of the list of threads?

Using Firefox on Android and do not see either of these (post count/join date & report button)

I'm not surprised since it looks like you're using the mobile version of the site.

The Report button should be working now though.
