What are the new police frequencies for this area....the ones listed are not the 800 mhz of their newer system? And also what are the frequencies for the "Storm Spotter" HAM operators for Madison and Marion Counties of Indiana ?
Thanks........

I don't think they have them assigned yet. I know for a fact they have taken MDT's out of all APD cars, MCPD are getting MDT's and Anderson has installed the unprogrammed 400 radios in their cars.

A lot of those frequencies are the same ones used on the old system back in the 80s, before they went to 800 MHz.

Yep, 453.050 was ch 1, .700 was 2 and .950 was 3. Fire was VHF at the time. When they went to 800, MDTs were put on UHF.

Anderson testing new freqs

At about 1:00pm, Anderson started testing new UHF freqs. No PL tones, yet. But may be using Digi Sq, DC numbers are seen on Pro2055.

I just have to say one thing: "IF" your radio dos not have DigiSquelch(DCS,DLP) you will get very sick of KSA918. CWid on every freq every few mins.(well seems like it)

What are the "DC numbers"? Signal strength? I will have to check my scanners but I do not believe any of them have DigiSquelch. This may be a new issue for me.

Its like PL tones(CTCSS), but using numbers to control Sqeulch(DCS). With coded sq, you don't have to hear all that CW noise. On the downside, my Pro2055 is a little slow to open sq.

Getting close

Wow..they are getting close to launching this new system. Sounds like 453.5625 will be PD main dispatch.
