BCT-15 Remove Faceplate/Bezel?

Has anyone removed the bezel on a 15 or a 996T? I'm trying to do an ISO mount in the Double-DIN slot in my truck. The goal is to have a Kenwood stereo on top, and the BCT-15 on the bottom. To do an ISO mount, you need to remove the front plate/bezel, and mount to the sides. I tried to remove it but even after removing the screws that seemed to hold it on, I couldn't get it to pop off. I have this mounting kit:

Anyway, would love some advice if anyone has any experience or ideas.

Well, I wasn't able to remove the faceplate. It seems like it's all one piece. I was able to mount both units in the vehicle, however.
