Default 2009 08/03-08/04 VHF High - into EN90QL

Very nice propogation characteristics last night / early this morning to/from East Ohio.

Starting around 10 pm last night or so I noticed good propogation out west, into Licking, Franklin, Madison, and Fayette Cos. Routine VHF comms were heard with high signal strengths.

This spread all the way up to Henry Co, Ohio and down to Wood Co WV. Although east of me signals were better, I heard very little that I hadn't heard before from the east.

In the end, the coolest catches I heard were:

152.0975 P25 TRUNKED (not strong enough for good decode)
153.2000 P25 TRUNKED (not strong enough for good decode)

152.7125 P25 TRUNKED VA-STARS Site 107 (Fork Mountain)

- Copied a little radio traffic from Dept of Corrections on TG 2206

=============

153.6425 P25 TRUNKED NYSEG Site 104 (likely Newfield)

- see below

153.6425 CC
152.7725 AC
System ID 269
Tower ID 104 (T0104)
WACN BEE00

117 (T0111) 269 05-2058 152.1575

All in all a very fun night for listening to VHF.

Mike

Something was opening up the EMA repeater in Licking County, but I didn't figure out who it was. I looked to see if there was anything else coming in, but I didn't hear any.

I was noticing a signal from elsewhere tripping the input for Hancock Co (WV) S.O. last night as well. VHF-Hi was packed full. I should have been in bed by midnight but stayed up til 4 AM logging crap rofl.

Licking Co is coming in here pretty good again today. Got 151.2575 82.5 PL CWIDing as KQH904. Also heard the Comtech #1 in Franklin again as well.
