East Prarie/Charleston

Ambulance 2 East Prarie/Charleston We're Back in the county... It's not just this we're hearing, It's everything from dispatched calls to ems'/hospital comms and more..Can anyone say where East Prarie and Charleston I'm hearing is?

It's coming in on our local Ambulance Channel, 155.400 Repeater Output And 150.805 Input. From what I've found I've found none to match it. It's on 146.2 PL also if that helps, I think we're getting it on the input but sometimes it's clear as a bell and it's getting to where we hear it all the time. Does anyone know where it's coming from?

Just heard West on 83 At Prarie...I'm guessing hwy 83?

My guess would be Mississippi County Ambulance Service in Charleston, MO

KDA725 uses 150.805/146.2 for their primary EMS dispatch repeater input & they are about 85 miles away from you. There are towns names East Prairie and Charleston in this county, matching your reception report.

Ok Then...Not as far away as I figured it was then...That's funny because they've had the one here for years and it's just started a few months ago. Perhaps they boosted their power or got a new transmitter somewhere else? Hmmm...
