Spartanburg is my location. I have no idea where these frequencies came from got some strong ducting going on tonight.

A lot of the Spartanburg County agencies are on Palmetto 800 now. Only county fire, rescue, and Spartanburg FD & PD are conventional.

I'm showing in my personnal list:

151.4750 MHz w/ a 88.5 PL to be NC Forest Service District 1 Operations.
158.7900 MHz w/ Unknwn PL is registered to Henderson County. I've caught it once before, but I didn't log the tone or traffic.

I hope this helps!

What I heard on 151.475/88.5 PL was definitely fire dispatch. They toned an engine, rescue and squad for a MVA on 79 at Alabama St. I don't think it was NC Forest Service.

That's what I was thinking. I was also hearing law enforcement on another frequency (don't remember which one) and every tag and license they ran came back Alabama.

That was a good band opening.

I found it. Alabama St at 79 is located in Tarrant, AL. Tarrant uses 159.360 for public saftey which is the input for the NC Forestry repeater near Asheville. It was repeating the traffic onto 151.475.
