On my way to get a sandwich and my car radio was screaming with big Texas DX! (and others) Many of them at full quieting and rich stereo.

Here is my logs: Start time 1445 cdt. with abrupt end near 1600. MUF was right at 100.1.

92.3-KOFX-El Paso, nice mix of Old School oldies with remote from National Furniture Liquidators
93.1-KSII-El Paso, KISS FM with a Whataburger commercial and Various Hit music.
93.3-WLWI-I-92 Country-Montgomery, Alabama
93.9-KMXR-Corpus Christie with Neil Diamond-"Sweet Caroline"
95.5-KYOT-The Mountain, Phoenix, with Train-"Soul Sister"
95.7-KKHH-Hot 95.7 Houston
97.1-KEGL-Dallas/Ft.Worth

Many other catches coming through, but naturally, they would fade out before I could get a positive ID. Also noteworthy, quite a few Mexican stations battling it out in the mix too.

There was a front passing through the DFW area around the times of your posting as well. This may have provided some signal "ducting" to bounce them up into your area as well.
