I am seeing quite a bit of frequency hopping today from somewhere. The band seems to be open to the South from here (near Kansas City) since I am also hearing Mexican traffic on 34.820.

The hopping is at 30.00-30.550 and 32.150-32.700.

That's a result of the Airspy normal function. It rolls off sharply on the edges like that and tracks with the tuning. Anti-imaging is the reason I believe.

The antenna is a 32 MHz dipole about 30 feet up in a tree fed with RG6.

I don't know what the hopping is from. I assumed maybe from the south since I was getting Spanish on that other freq at the time.
