Found activity at 146.865 this evening. I heard roll call for members of the local emergency net. Listening to the roll call I heard members from several surrounding towns and counties.

Looks like this is the local SkyWarn net as well.

Anyone have any further info?

Edited b/c I screwed up the freq initially.

A quick search online shows only one repeater listen in SC with that frequency, and that is in Florence. I don't have a SERA journal handy for a better answer though, but I will look that up tomorrow to see if they have it listed.

What you most likley heard was the SC ARES net on the SCHEART linked repeater system,.
Go to SCHEART.US for details. The net is new and state wide, open to all Sunday nights at 8 PM local time.

Primary linked repeaters are located from 500 to 900 feet high on SCETV towers. The goal is to be able to link every hospital in the state for emergencies.
