The SCHEARTS Linked UHF 441.5250 + machine is now in service. It is located on top of the ARMC hospital. PL Tone is 91.5
The antenna is in a temporary location and will be mounted to the tower (up 35 more feet) next Thursday.
This was going to be the "BEACH ISLAND" Schearts repeater. This new UHF repeater for AIKEN is linked to the SCHEARTS statewide system. During the weekend, all the SCHEART VHF, and this UHF repeater are linked together.
