What channel do they use at nightime when they say they are responding to non-fire related calls such as medical calls? On the old system, they would get the actual call via the "ringdown" line and they would use Fireground 6 for all radio traffic associated with the call, with the exception of the initial call with the "ringdown" thing. I haven't heard anything yet.
