Pro-2096 with Crosstalk on Pal8

I just recently got my first Pro-2096 (great deal I couldn't pass up) While I know it is an older Digital Trunk Tracker I am getting a lot of cross-talk. I only have the Richland Site programmed in and only have the banks on with CPD and RCSD Digital Dispatch Talkgroups but I'll get RC EMS, SCE&G and some others. Any tricks for this older scanner to kill some of the cross talk?

Close the banks you've programmed. If you're in Open Mode (+ sign under the bank number), then it's going to scan all active talkgroups. I think it's FUNC + 5 to close a bank.

no, i mean it still will paused on RCSD Reg 4 Dispatch for example. they finish transmit but before it starts scanning again it will pick up CPD South Region Dispatch or RC EMS dispatch transmissions. The first transmission is always the correct one but it just doesn't seem to drop the voice channel quick enough and catches a different talkgroups transmission that isn't in that bank or isn't programmed in...
