Are there Any places in the Aiken/Augusta area to program my scanner I have a pro 106 and Im just have trouble with getting hp and the regional channels

if you know how to program it manually you can go into the database and program the controll channels for the aiken/ augusta pal 800 sites

I'm having the same problem with a 106 in the Greenville area. I've tried programming manually, and with the trial software that comes with the RadioShack computer cable. Mine will scan, but there is no radio traffic, even for groups like the Greenville City PD. It's probably something obvious to an experienced user, unfortunately I'm not in that group.

The "free" download from RR put in a lot of frequencies for the trunk system. Unfortunately none of these were the control frequency for the closest repeater. Added that, and it's chattering like a chipmunk on cappucino. Thanks so much for the help TT71!
