i have some us forest service Freqs but don't know if they are for SC i have heard on the SC forestry commission switch over to talk to us forest service couldn't hear it because who knows there freqs

All depends on which Forest.

I would say Search the 162-174 band next time they switch over.

You would have to be real close if they are going simplex and not thru the Repeaters

168.6750 is reported [tones needed] as a Statewide Repeater system for the USFS

Today I am hearing prescribed burn tac traffic, probably in the Pickens district of Sumter NF on 169.9, sometimes referred to as NC Tac. You should hear aircraft flight-following on 168.650. The 168.675 freq is used by several ranger districts in SC. There are many lists of usfs frequencies online. 168.55, 168.2, and 168.35 may be used on larger incidents too, among many others. I hear 164.125 at times, but it may be an input frequency.

163.7750 is ICE, might this be 168.7750 which is/was the Chattahoochee Local channel [Non Rptr]
