Multiple county fire departments along with the city are testing their radios on 151.025/85.4 PL.

Looks like we may be getting a repeater.

So far I've heard Cowpens, Woodruff, Tyger River, Spartanburg, Pelham-Batesville, Chesnee and Landrum doing tests.

I have heard Boiling Springs also. and i notice the FCC Lic for that channel is up for Renewal in August 2013 so if they make this an fire channel they may have to modified it license to increase the number of units it is license for.

so i wonder what radio channel the Road and Bridges using now.

Spartanburg Co. Fire departments using different tone?

Need some help. My pager has tones in it for Westview-Fairforest of 1344.0 2465.0 from the the wiki for Spartanburg County ( Spartanburg County Pager Tones - The RadioReference Wiki ). The problem is that the station that those tones are used for Glenn Springs ( which has tones listed as 2932.0 2465.0 ).

I tried swapping they two tones, and the pager still does not go off. To test it, I have a scanner that I listen to.

Does anyone have a list of the updated tones for Spartanburg County Fire pagers?

Any help would be appreciated.

~Jim
