Default Hc/mb fire rescue non dispatch channels not working

With the hp1 (home patrol) when i program the myrtle beach and horry county fire rescue channels the only active channels are the dispatch channels. Non!! Of the secondary channels work......... Fire grounds or tac's. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? I would like to hear all of them.

You'll have to go on line and update the HP-1.

I understand that software comes with the unit. It may need additional programming. Good Luck.

Are the communications clear on the fire ground and tac channels? If the signal is weak or "scratchy" then the scanner may not be able to grab enough of the signal to actually stop on that freq.. I know in my area (NC foothills) that if I am not within about a mile or so of a working fire my scanners will not stop on the FG and TAC channels. But then again my line of sight and terrain conditions are somewhat different than the coast.

CCSPRINGS - With the HP-1, you have to enable the talkgroup service types to be able to hear all of an agency's talkgroups.

Any chance you haven't enabled "fire-tac," fire-talk," "ems-tac," and "ems-talk?"
