York County Fire and EMS audio feed

We have started providing the "official" audio feed for the EMS and fire units for York County, SC. Please take a listen and give us some feedback. We are continuing to improve the audio quality and reliability of the feed. Therefore, the feed may bounce occasionally.

We are currently streaming with audio provided by a Bearcat BCD996T. As with most scanners monitoring a P25 simulcast system, we are having a few issues with the P25 decode rate. I hope to remedy those issues in the near future as well.

Here is a list of talkgroups/channels that are being fed to Broadcastify:

York County Fire Dispatch, County Fire Ops 2 -9, and Fire mutual aid

York County EMS Dispatch, Med Ops 2 -7, and EMS mutual aid

You are quite welcome! We are very pleased to offer the feed of our radio traffic.

All of the radio traffic that we feed must be approved by the streamed agency(s). Law enforcement agencies have yet to "sign up" to have their audio broadcast although I believe that you will likely see some LE traffic in the future.

Also, we have had a couple of issues with the feed and/or audio staying active. We are continuing to troubleshoot the issues, and have recently replaced the scanner with an 800MHz commercial radio to attempt to eliminate some of the variables. Please let us know if you notice any issues. In the meantime, you should notice considerably improved audio over that of the scanner.
