Lexington EMS channel 2 question

What is the Palmetto 800 code for it. I know it's not the same as Lexington county EMS Ch. 2 Admin (19664) as now the dispatchers has certain calls for EMS to respond on "EMS 2".

Are you referring to ops 2? If so, it's just a talk around for fire and ems to talk to each for calls that have them responding together if need be (mvc with injuries etc...) during the time we provide the ems crew with a call number we will usually say "respond on ops2" (or whatever channel is open at the time)

Can you provide me with an example of a p800 code? If so I can try to look it up for you at work. In case you didn't know we have 6 tacs for fire and ems (if I remember correctly).

Thanks... Now if we could only get Batesburg-Leesville PD off of 460.425 and on the 800 like the rest of the county towns (as long as they remain analog, maybe I shouldn't wish that hard)

Yeah not sure why they are still analog. Maybe if they decide to consolidate with us then they will go to the 800 network. But I imagine there is a significant cost increase to switch their entire radio infrastructure to digital.
