I have also noticed as well. I was listening last night and it seems like it started today. Also it seems like they just added the 64 in front of the old numbers instead of having 00 like 272sed to be 00272 now it is just 64272. Maybe they are getting ready to upgrade the system any thoughts ?

I think they just redid their precincts into east, west, and north. Strange as it may sound i think thats it... I'll relay whatever else i hear.
I've been listening today and got the following TGID's:
64016 - Possibly new East Side (Hwy 544 / Sector 6 mentioned)
64272 - (River Oaks / Bluffs mentioned)
64336 - Possibly Beach Patrol (Springmaid Pier area mentioned)
64528 -
36208 = North Myrtle Beach Ocean Lifeguards
In the absence of definitive info, I'm sure if we work together and exchange info, we can solve these new channel designations.

20656 is one of several TGID's that have been doing radio testing all morning. Others of the same group include:
20663, 20688, 20659, 20496, 20784, 20720, 20624, 20752.
I'm not sure who they are for but I'm sure all will be revealed soon.

Yes, this is correct. However, be aware this is purely a tone-out channel. The same information is given on the MBFD Dispatch channel, which also includes the two way radio communications of responding units with their dispatch. (TGID 12816)
